Initialization

Initialise in the following cases

  • The initial set-up was not completed successfully.

  • Error when entering the one-time password displayed on the Authenticator.

  • One-time passwords no longer appear in the Authenticator.

  • Want to redo the settings.

Do not initialise in these cases !!

  • When you forget your smartphone and cannot confirm your one-time password
  • When using a browser without Authenticator at home or on the road

⇒Try 'Set up Notification Mail Address' without initialising.

Attention

Be careful if you have Authenticator set up in multiple browsers.
When initialised, only the one-time password of the browser in which the operation is performed will be valid, all other passwords will be disabled. The unwanted numbers will remain displayed as they do not automatically disappear when disabled. Once initialisation is complete, export the valid account information and import it into another browser to synchronise it so that the same numbers are displayed(※1). Also, please delete any unwanted one-time passwords from the Authenticator(※2).

Operation Procedure

If you have lost your Authenticator, reinstall it before the operation.

  1. Access to the Authentication Setting Page.
  2. Click "Click here if you have not initialized your one-time password (TOTP) yet."

  3. Enter your SPS-ID and PW, and click Login button.

  4. Click "初期化" button.

  5. After you see "メールを送信しました。", open the email that was sent to your email address.
    If you see "An email has been sent to the ICT Support Center.",
    you should checkhere

  6. Click URL in the mail body, then enter your SPS-ID and PW on the screen that appears and click "Login" button.

  7. After seeing "ワンタイムパスワード認証の設定を初期化しました。", Check that the QR code is displayed on the screen in step5.

  8. Use Authenticator to scan QR codes.

    [Smartphones]:
    Start Authenticator, tap "+" and read the QR code.

    [Browser]:
    Click QR code scan on the Authenticator and read the QR code.

  9. Click OK button on the dialog "追加されました。" ⇒ Click 登録 button.

  10. Enter the TOTP displayed in the Authenticator and click "確認" button.

  11. When you see the message "ワンタイムパスワード認証の設定が完了しました。",
    you have done it.
    ※If you have set up Authenticator in multiple browsers, please continue with "Export/import". reset12

In case you see the message
"An email has been sent to the ICT Support Center".

  1. After you see the message "An email has been sent to the ICT Support Center.", please give us iimc a phone call.
    ※Do NOT close the screen.

  2. After confirming your identity, he QR code screen automatically shows up, then you should operate from step8.
