IC Cards

Designed for:StudentsFacultyStaff

It is a contactless IC card with a built-in IC chip that can communicate simply by holding it over a card reader. It can be used to enter and leave buildings such as libraries and as a Kyoto University Co-operative Union card.

1. Requirements & Rules

カードを紛失された場合は、所属する学部の教務、また所属部局の担当事務へご連絡ください。

Eligibility for issue and available features

IC Student ID
  • Academic Students
  • Graduate students
  • Automatic issuance of certification
  • Management of the entrance and exit of rooms and buildings
  • Use as a member's card for the Kyoto University Co-op and use as electronic money
    (for Co-op members only)
Authentication IC Card
  • President・Directors・Auditors
  • Faculty and staff(However, the following persons are excluded)
    -Dispatch Staff
    -Part-time lecturer
    -TA・RA・OA
    -Short-term hirers
  • Persons deemed necessary by the head of the department.
  • Management of the entrance and exit of rooms and buildings
  • Use as a member's card for the Kyoto University Co-op and use as electronic money
    (for Co-op members only)
Facilities Use ID Persons other than those to whom the above-mentioned cards are issued, who use the facility card to enter or leave the premises, etc.
