Accounts for Faculty and Staff (SPS-ID)

An ID containing the alphabetical and numerical combination of first name and surname, issued to all staff and faculty members of the University.

1. Target persons

SPS-ID are issued to faculty and staff members of our university and temporary staff. The target audience is as follows.

• Faculty and staff employed by our university(Excludes Part-time lecturers, OA, RA, and TA who are issued ECS-ID)*
• Temporary staff who need to use the Faculty and Staff Groupware

* Refers to faculty members who are employed based on the employment regulations established by the university, such as the "Kyoto University Faculty Employment Regulations."

2. Get Started

As they are issued on the basis of an application from the person in charge of the department, no application is required from the user him/herself.
The 'Account (SPS-ID) Activation Notice' is distributed by your department (Personnel Department).

3. How to Use

Activation is required to use the account. Please activate your account by the deadline using the activation key provided in the 'Account (SPS-ID) Activation Notice'.

5. What to do when you leave your job

In the event of resignation or transfer off-campus, the account will no longer be eligible for use and will be automatically suspended.
Various services using the account will not be available, and prior correspondence regarding the suspension will be
