Call for Application for FY2025 Service Course (1st Stage)
We call for application for the FY2025 Service Course starting from April in the following schedule. Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources that you request depending on the situation since each course has its limitation in available computing resources. We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation.
Please refer to the "System Specification" for an overview of the system.
Courses to be Opened and Application Periods
We call for applications for the courses listed in the table below. Please refer to the supplementary notes before applying.

(*1) Please note that for the Fourth Priority courses (Group Course/Type A0, B0, C0, G0), the total number of nodes accepted per year is set as follows:
- Group Course/Type A0: Maximum of 16 nodes per group
- Group Course/Type B0: Maximum of 8 nodes per group
- Group Course/Type C0: Maximum of 4 nodes per group
- Group Course/Type G0: Maximum of 8 GPUs per group
Usage Fees
The usage fee is required according to the service courses to use the supercomputer systems. Please refer to Regulations for Usage Fees of Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS), Kyoto University for details.
Application Methods
For those who have already applied for 運営交付金 or 校費等 as a budget item of FY2025.
Please apply via User Portal or submit the "Service Course Application Form" online or send it to Supercomputer Services of ICT Support Center.
Applicable Budget Items
- 国立大学法人京都大学経費（研究経費，教育経費，一般管理費等の教育研究事業費）
- 大学運営交付金（国立大学運営交付金，公立学校経費，私立学校経費）
* If the budget item is defined to be available in the next fiscal year, it is possible to apply for the service course for the next fiscal year with the budget item already applied for in the current fiscal year.
For those who have already applied for 競争的資金 or 受託研究費 such as 科学研究費 of FY2025.
Please refer to Changing the Registration of Budget/Payment Item and submit the "Application Form of Large-Scale Computer Systems" and the "Service Course Application Form" with an applicable budget item online or send them to Supercomputer Services of ICT Support Center .
For those who newly apply for the use of our supercomputer systems from FY2025.
Please refer to Application Procedures, submit both the "Application Form of Large-Scale Computer Systems" and the "Service Course Application Form" online or send them to Supercomputer Services of ICT Support Center.
※Please refer to Rules for Use of Supercomputers for Foreign Nationals and Japanese Nationals Residing Overseas for applications by international students, non-residents, and those who fall under specific categories.
