Application Procedures
The Computing Services are available only for users with their User ID/account for our large-scale computing systems. Please follow these guidelines and complete all necessary application procedures.

| User Eligibility | Applicants must meet either one of the following conditions:
For eligibility of non-residents including international students, see The Rules for Use of Foreign Nationals and Japanese Nationals Residing Overseas. For requirements for use of our systems for collaborative research with private organizations, see The Rules for Use of Collaborative Research with Private Organizations. In the cases when users entrust a private organization with the program development, please consult us via the Inquiry Form. |
| Usage Fees |
The usage fee is required depending on courses and types for supercomputer users. Note that individual user's expense is unacceptable. |

Application Flow Chart
The following graphic illustrates the necessary application procedures. The Entry Course and the Large-Format Printer will be available after the application is completed. Users can add computation resources or the license services by applying for other courses or the license services.
Except for the entry course and the license service, the application for the service course is open only for a fixed period of time. We will make an announcement on the Service Application Timeline and E-mail Newsletter when the application for the service course is open.
Application Method
1. Obtaining a User ID(Necessary)
User ID is issued by submitting the Application Form for Large-Scale Computer Systems. You can use our supercomputer as a entry course user after obtaining a user ID and an approval notice and then setting a password.
You can submit the "Application Form of Large Scale Computer Systems" in either of the following ways.
1. Submit Online
2. Submit by sending the application form to the Supercomputing Services of ICT Support Center (see above).
Please fill in the form referring to the instruction described in the Application Form for Large-Scale Computer Systems and the 「Research Area Codes」. For inquires about the application procedures, please contact the Supercomputing Services of ICT Support Center (see above).
Please refer to the "Procedures to Start the Service" for obtaining an approval notice.

2. Application for the Service Course(Optional)
If you do not have enogh resources available for the entry course, please consider Personal Course, Group Cource or Increase of the Storage Capacity.The application period is open only for a fixed period of time since there is a limitation in available computing resources. Please refer to the following URL for the Service Cource Application Timeline and how to apply.

Schedule of the Call for the application
- 1st call for Application(From January to February):Call for the application which starts from April
- 2nd call for Application(April):Call for the application which starts from June
- Additional call for Application(After June):Only when there is a available computing resources
Applying for Trial Account ID
If you want to try out your programs or applications which you are currently using on your laboratory's cluster or computer systems on our supercomputer system before submitting an application for our supercomputing service, you can use the Trial Account.
