Acquisition and Renewal of ECS-ID(Student Account)

Procedures

Student account (ECS-ID) is provided for every student and faculty who don't have SPS-ID.

For Student

Undergraduate Student, Graduate Student, Research Student, Auditing Student, Credited Auditing Student, Special Auditing Student, Special Research Student

◆ Acquisition

We distribute the notification including student account (ECS-ID) for students enroll in April and October. If you are the student besides above, please contact thehelpdesk with student identification.

◆ Suspension and Renewal

The ECS-ID is stopped when no more a student status due to graduation, and so on. If you want to continue use as a following faculty member, please check "renewal" term of faculty.

For Faculty

Part-time Lecturer, Professor Emeritus, Guest Scholar, Guest Research Associate, Special Researcher (JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists), Special Researcher (JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research Abroad), Research Fellow, Contract Researcher, Collaborative Researcher

Acquisition

Please contact thehelpdesk with the application form and your identification card or certification issued by the director of your department or Kyoto University.

◆ Suspension and Renewal

Except for Professor Emeritus, you must extend your account every fiscal year. At the new fiscal year if you hope to continue to use the ECS-ID, please contact to the helpdesk with the application form and your identification card or certification issued by the director of your department or Kyoto University.

If you can't visit any helpdesk because of distant place, you can also send the copy of your identification and the application form to the following address.
