Call for Application of FY2022 Service Course (2nd Stage)

We call for application of the FY2022 Service Course in the following schedule.
Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources that you request depending on the situation since each course has its limitation in available computing resources.

【Important】Change of the period of use due to system replacement

The current supercomputer system is scheduled to terminate the service on Fri. July 28, 2022 and be replaced to a new system. Therefore, please note that the period of use of the system is not as usual. Please refer to the 『New supercomputer system』for an overview of the new system.

Courses to be opened ・Application Period

* Please note that we will not accept applications for the System C in the 2nd stage since large number of applications were applied in the 1st stage of the call.

* We will start offering the service course on May 2 for this fiscal year only.

*If you use the Personal Course or Group Course from May to July 28, the period of use will be treated as three months. Please see Rules for Usage Fees of Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) for details.

*Call for application of the new system is scheduled around August 2022.

Usage Fees

Usage fee is required according to the service courses. Please see Rules for Usage Fees of Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) for details.

How to apply

For those who have already applied for a budget item of FY2022.

Please apply via User Portal or submit the "Service Course Application Form" online or send it to Supercomputer Services of ICT Support Center.

For those who have not applied for a budget item of FY2022 yet.

Please refer to Changing the Registration of Budget/Payment Item and submit the "Application Form of Large-Scale Computer Systems" and the "Service Course Application Form" with an applicable budget item online or send them to Supercomputer Services of ICT Support Center..

For those who newly apply for the use of our supercomputer systems from April 1st, 2022

Following Application Procedures, submit both the "Application Form of Large-Scale Computer Systems" and the "Service Course Application Form" online or send them to Supercomputer Services of ICT Support Center..

*For the application by non-residents (including international students those living in Japan for less than six months) or persons who fall under a specific category, please refer to "Rules for Use of Supercomputers for Foreign Nationals and Japanese Nationals Residing Overseas".
