During the initial setup of my Windows PC, I am prompted to enter a 'Microsoft account,' but entering the '*@ms.c.kyoto-u.ac.jp' account name results in an error and I cannot proceed.

The "*@ms.c.kyoto-u.ac.jp" account provided by the university is a "Microsoft 365 account".

This is different from the "Microsoft account" required to sign in during the initial setup of a Windows PC. Therefore, the "*@ms.c.kyoto-u.ac.jp" account cannot be used to sign in during this initial setup.

We kindly ask that the creation and management of the "Microsoft account" used for the initial setup of PCs be handled by individuals or their respective departments.
