OneDrive storage usage differs between the app and web versions.

According to our inquiry to Microsoft, when image files such as JPG or PNG are uploaded, the system internally generates thumbnails for system use. Since the size of these thumbnails is calculated in "Storage Metrics", this behavior causes more storage capacity to be consumed than the actual file size.
Currently, there is no workaround for this behavior. Therefore, if you upload image files, please use the service with the understanding that more storage capacity will be consumed than the actual file size, or consider using alternative storage options.
