The use of Microsoft Office on virtual-type terminals (Windows) has been available since the 2023 academic year.

If you are using a virtual terminal with Windows OS, please refer to the Microsoft Office activation procedure page for the startup procedure. Clicking on the shortcut "Officeを使用する方はクリック" (Click the icon "How to activate MS-Office") link on the desktop will open the activation procedure page, and you can start using it by following the instructions on the page that appears.

Students do not need to apply to use Office, but faculty and staff may need to apply in advance.

Full-time faculty members should check the Microsoft 365 page of the Institute for Information Management and Communication (IIMC).

If you are a part-time faculty member and are not sure if you can use this service, please contact us in advance via the Inquiries page.

Please note that Microsoft Office is not provided for Ubuntu OS, so please use compatible LibreOffice if necessary.
