When attempting to send student emails from a mail client, the message fails to send and the following error is displayed:

5.7.60 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send as this sender

This error may occur if the email is sent using a sender address (the “From” field) that is different from your student email address when using the student email outgoing mail server.

When using the student email sending server, please ensure that the From (sender) address is set to your student email address.

Additionally, this error can also occur if there are input mistakes such as unnecessary spaces or typos in the email address field.

Please check your mail client settings.
