Programming Seminars(FY2022)

Eligibility:

Users of the large-scale computer system of this center, faculties, graduate and undergraduate students.

Note: Supercomputer is under the scope of the Export Administration Regulations. Therefore, these seminars are also restricted under the Foreign Exchange Laws and related laws. For more information, see "Rules for Use of Supercomputers for Foreign Nationals and Japanese Nationals Residing Overseas". Basically all seminars are held in Japanese language.

Allowed number of applicants:

Basically, the first 10 or 15 applicants will be accepted. The seminar may be canceled if there are very few applicants. So you are encouraged to find other people who apply for the seminar together.

Time and venue of the programming seminar:

Basically the seminar takes place online from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.(There are exceptions, so please check the seminar schedule below).
We will start distributing accounts to connect to the supercomputer 30 minutes before the start of the seminars. Please join the Zoom Webiner at least 15 minutes before the start time of the seminar.

How to apply for the seminar:

Apply for the seminar at the website of "Event・Lectures Information". The application period is from one month before to one week before the seminar. (If the deadline falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the previous non-holiday becomes the deadline.)

*1 This seminar will be held in SAS Institute's online training system.

*2 Your user account and password are required to download the seminar materials. Copying, duplicating, recreating, posting, forwarding, distribution, or secondary utilization of the seminar materials are prohibited.

*3 The seminar materials will be print media. We will provide spare materials for non-participants after the end of seminar on a first-come, first-served basis at Research Information Section. Contact Inter/Intra University Services Section. (Please note that only a limited number of materials are available.)
