In order to use information and information technology safely and effectively, Kyoto University requires all members, including students and faculty, to take information security e-learning every year.

If you don't complete this e-learning by the deadline, we may restrict your access to KUINS-Air which require your ECS-ID or SPS-ID to authenticate.

Features

• You can learn basic knowledge about information security.
• New students must take the course within one month after admission, and new faculty members and new staff members must take the course within one month after being hired./li>
• Please take the course every year.

1. Requirements & Rules

ECS-ID or SPS-ID is required.
Two Information security e-learning courses are available: for ECS-ID and SPS-ID users. Please take the e-learning course corresponding to your university-wide accounts. If you take the wrong course, you may not be considered to have completed the course.

6	The information security e-Learning course is displayed. "Please check if the displayed course is for ECS-ID or SPS-ID. If it's incorrect, please start again from step 1."	Image
7	Click on Text. The material (PDF) will be displayed, so please study.	Image
8	When you have finished viewing the materials, click "修了テスト /Final 2025"	Image
9	Click the button 『ATTEMPT QUIZ』.	Image
10	After entering all answers, click 『FINISH ATTEMPT』.	Image
11	Click the button 『SUBMIT ALL AND FINISH』.	Image Image
12	Click the button 『SUBMIT ALL AND FINISH』 again.	Image
13	The test results will be displayed, so check your answers and the explanations.	Image
