Unable to reach the login screen for each OS in the VDI

Cannot_reach_VDI_login_screen.pngOn the VDI reservation screen, when you click the [Connect] button for a reservation that is in "Running"(green) state, the screen shown on the right may appear even after waiting a few minutes, the login screen may not appear.

In this case, you may be able to reach the login screen by one of the following methods.

  1. Start your browser so that browser history, extensions, etc. do not function.

You may be able to open the VDI login screen by starting a new browser using the Private Browsing equivalent function of each browser by referring to the link below. In this case, the symptom is considered to be dependent on your environment, so please try to avoid it by installing and using a different browser or changing the settings of the browser extensions, etc.

  1. If you are accessing the reservation screen through the VDI link on PandA's course site, try the following method instead of from PandA.

(1)Enter your ID and password in the username/password fields on this screen.
(2)Click the [Shibboleth] button on this screen to log in from the integrated authentication system.

  1. If you are unable to connect using the above methods, please wait 10 minutes after the first occurrence of the symptom before reconnecting, or try the following methods.

* The following procedures are only valid for reservations that are activated during the class period. Please note that they are completely ineffective for self-study reservations.

Users who cannot connect to the VDI reservation screen can try to connect to a different VDI desktop by following the steps a) to c) below.

a) Click the "Welcome" button in the upper right corner of the VDI reservation screen and select "Logout".
