# Windows version

Be sure to do the deletion work when Nextcloud is not running.

If there is a Nextcloud icon on the taskbar, Nextcloud is running.
In this case, right-click the icon, select "Exit Nextcloud" from the display, exit, and then execute the deletion.

1. Windows Menu> Settings> Apps> Apps and Features

2. Click Nextcloud, click Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the removal.
