To all users of the Supercomputer Systems

File access to the storage (home, LARGE0, LARGE1)
from the computing nodes of the system D/E have been occasionally
causing a long waiting time since the end of January.

We suspect a hardware failure, however because of the situation that
it is difficult to identify the failure while the system is in operation,
we will perform temporary system maintenance to investigate and recover the failure
on the following dates.

Maintenance Period : 10:00 a.m. on Thu. February 16, 2023 - 10:00 a.m. on Fri. February 17, 2023
Systems to be suspended : System D/E/G, Cloud system and Storage

All running jobs will be re-executed following this maintenance.
Jobs for which re-execution are prohibited will be forced to terminate,
so please re-submit the jobs after the system starts the operation.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Since yesterday, we have been conducting load tests to detect defective devices.
We are currently working to address the defective devices that were found.
Since it is expected to take more time than initially planned, the service will be resumed at noon on February 17 (Fri.), extending the maintenance time by 2 hours.
