【Supercomputer】Maintenance work performed during the scheduled maintenance

The Supercomputer Systems have been updated upon completing the maintenance work performed from June 11 to 13, 2024.

  1. Installation of New Software Versions
  2. Default version of the Intel compiler
  3. Service Start of the Linaro Forge
  4. Service Start of the FastX Gateway Server
  5. Enhancement of the Visualization server

1. Installation of New Software Versions

The table below shows the new software versions installed after the last maintenance.

2. Default version of the Intel compiler

Due to a failure with Intel OneAPI 2023.2, the version of Intel OneAPI was changed to 2023.1 on April 30. We have confirmed that the failure has been resolved by the update, so we are changing the default version to 2023.2.

3. Service Start of the Linaro Forge

We have started offer the Linaro Forge, a powerful GUI-based debugger/profiler.

4. Service Start of the FastX Gateway Server

We have started to offer FastX gateway server on a trial basis.
Although you can access the FQDN of the login node directly as usual, we plan to unify the connection to the gateway server in the future.

5. Enhancement of the Visualization server

We have been operating one visualization server, however we will increase the number of the visualization servers to two.
