Due to changes in Google’s specifications, the Gemini feature in Google Chat will transition from the current "side panel" to "Ask Gemini" starting the week of June 25, 2026. Please check the "Target Users" section below and take action if you are an applicable user.

■ Target Users

Users who meet both of the following conditions:

• Google account language setting is "English"
• Currently using a paid Gemini license

　*: A paid license is required to use Gemini features in Google Chat.

■ Changes

The current side panel will be abolished and switched to the new chat application screen.

Past conversation history will not be automatically migrated to "Ask Gemini."

If you have any necessary records, please export them manually by June 25. For instructions on how to export, please refer to the Google Help Center.

■ Future Schedule

This change applies only to the "Target Users" mentioned above, but it may be applied to users with Japanese language settings in the future. We will notify you information is received from Google.
