【Supercomputer】Maintenance work performed during the scheduled maintenance
The Supercomputer Systems have been updated upon completing the maintenance work performed from September 22 to 26, 2025.
- Installation of New Software Versions
- Trial service start of a Dedicated GPU-Equipped JupyterLab Server
- Addition of Visualization GPU Servers
1. Installation of New Software Versions
The table below shows the new software versions installed since the last maintenance.
For details on how to use each software, please refer to the following web pages.
| Software | New Version | Modulefile | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| List of ISV Applications | |||
| NAG | 30.1 | nag/30.1 | Previously, these were divided into nag_fortran and nag_parallel, but starting now, both are available in a single module. |
2. Trial service start of a Dedicated GPU-Equipped JupyterLab Server
We will be conducting a service for JupyterLab, which has been frequently requested, using GPU servers equipped with JupyterHub.
Each user will have access to resources equivalent to 4 CPU cores, 64GB of memory, and 1/7th of an NVIDIA A100 GPU.
Please note that the maximum capacity is 14 users. If the limit is reached, a message will be displayed indicating that the service is unavailable. Please try again later.

3. Addition of Visualization GPU Servers
To improve visualization environments for supercomputer use, we provide servers equipped with GPUs. We have now begun offering servers featuring the NVIDIA L40S.
Please note that we plan to discontinue operation of the currently available Visualization Server 1 (gp-0001) as circumstances warrant.
