Maintenance work performed during the scheduled maintenance
The Supercomputer Systems have been updated upon completing the maintenance work performed from June 11 to 13, 2024.

1. Installation of New Software Versions
The table below shows the new software versions installed since the last maintenance.

2. Trial service start of the Open OnDemand
The open source portal system provides easy access to the supercomputer through a Web browser.
Even users unfamiliar with command line operations can submit and monitor
jobs, manage files, and use interactive applications through an intuitive web interface.

3. Change in MATLAB License Activation Method
MATLAB is now provided under the condition that it can only be used by academic research institutions (AU).
Previously, it was provided under the condition that it could only be used by Kyoto University members (KU).
Please note that commercial use of MATLAB is still not allowed.
There will be no need for each user to authenticate themselves when starting the application for the first time.
3. Extension of the maximum number of job submissions per user
The number of simultaneous job submissions per user was previously set at “2000”, but has been expanded to “4000” on a trial basis.
The number may be returned to “2000” again depending on the system load.
