How to isolate issues with browser operations (InPrivate, Secret, Private)

you have any problems with your browser,
try opening a window in another mode using the steps below and see if the problem is resolved.
(This is a confirmation mode that does not contain any information such as add-ons, registered passwords, cookies, etc.)

After completing the operation, please close the windows of other modes.

 

Windows

In either case, the newly opened window will have a different mode (background color), so you can distinguish it from the windows you normally use.
The names of the modes vary depending on the browser.

  • Microsoft Edge
    From the "..." icon (menu) in the upper right corner of the Microsoft Edge
    browser,
    select "New InPrivate Window" and operate in the newly displayed window.
  • Google Chrome
    From the vertical icon (menu) with "..."s in the upper right corner of the Google Chrome
    browser, select "New incognito window" and operate in the newly displayed window.
  • Mozilla Firefox
    From the three icons (menu) in the upper right corner of the Mozilla Firefox
    browser, select "New Private Window" and operate in the newly displayed window.

Mac

In Edge and Chrome, the open windows have different modes (background colors), so you can distinguish them from the windows you normally use. In Safari and FireFox, the modes are different, but the appearance does not change much, so please use them with care. The names of the modes vary depending on the browser.

  • Apple Safari
    With Safari running and in use,
    select "File" and "New Private Window" from the menu bar, and operate in the newly displayed window.
  • Microsoft Edge
    Edge running and in use,
    select "File" and "New InPrivate Window" from the menu bar, then operate in the newly displayed window.
  • Google Chrome
    With Chrome running and in use,
    select "File" and "New Incognito Window" from the menu bar, then operate in the newly displayed window.
  • Mozilla Firefox
    running and in use,
    select "File" and "New Private Window" from the menu bar, then operate in the newly displayed window.
