学術情報メディアセンターセミナー「新世代インターネット技術の動向」
京都大学学術情報メディアセンターでは，月に一度，各分野でご活躍の講師をお招きし，それぞれの
研究開発活動の内容や現在抱えている課題についてご紹介いただき，参加者を含めて広く議論を
行う機会として，月例セミナーを開催しております．
6月8日の学術情報メディアセンターセミナーでは，「新世代インターネット技術の動向」をテーマに，
忠南大学 教授（京都大学 学術情報メディアセンター 外国人客員教授）KIM Dae-young 氏をお招きし，
ご講演いただきます．

| プログラム | 「Naming and Addressing of Future Internet」 The essence of the problem, if any, with the current Internet is its architectural flaw while the core of any network architecture is the associated naming and addressing scheme. The flaw in its naming and addressing is the real cause of many problems in the current Internet, especially with respect routing scalability and mobility. The talk is to propose a simple and hierarchical naming and addressing structure for Future Internet which is, principally among others, to combat the difficulties with routing scalability and mobility. Implementation choices to facilitate easy adoption to the current Internet infrastructure is also highlighted. |
