Due to replacement to the new system B/C, we will suspend the whole systems in the following schedule.In addition, we will end the service of the current system B/C/D on December 19, 2016, which has been extended the service because of the delay in the operation start of the new system B/C. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during a period of high demand of the supercomputer.We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation in advance.

• Suspension period: 9:00 a.m. on December 19 (Mon) -10:00.a.m. on December 27 (Tue)
• Services to be suspended: System A, B, C, D, E(Camphor2/Laurel/Cinnamon/Magnolia/Camellia), ENVI/IDL licensing, HPCI account services, Large-Format Printer and User Portal

The service status during the suspension period and after the restart is as follows.

• Systems which terminate the service on December 19, 2016:

  Current system B/C/D(Laurel/Cinnamon/Magnolia)

• Systems which operate the service at a service restart on December 27, 2016::

  New system A/B/C(Camphor2/Laurel2/Cinnamon2)and System E(Camellia)

• Systems which operate the service during the suspension period:

  Login node of the current system B/D/E (For file access)

  * You can access / home0,1, and / LARGE 0, 1, 2, 3 from all login nodes.

  *All users can access login node of the current system B.

  *Job execution is not available.

• About File Migration (1)

  The migration of the storage system has been completed at the time of a suspension period in September. There is no change concerning the storage.

• About File Migration (2) For users of the system D/E

  In order to shorten the service suspension period, those who migrate the service course from the system D/E to the system A/B/C should copy the file to /home0 and /LARGE0,1 by themselves. Group directory of / LARGE 0, 1 for new system B/C users have already been created, so it is possible to migrate the files from December 1, 2016.. In addition, you can access /home1 and /LARGE2, 3 from the new systems as usual. Please complete the file migration by the end of the fiscal year 2016.
