The manuals and other information on multi-factor authentication settings for ECS-IDs indicate that the service will take about 5 minutes to activate the settings,
However, for those who set up multi-factor authentication during the target period (9/4-9/18), there was a trouble that the setting did not work for the authentication of services on Microsoft365 such as University Wide Mail Service "KUMOI".

We would like to inform you that at around 15:40 today (September 18), the multi-factor authentication settings for the services for the applicable users.

We apologize to those who were affected by this issue that there was a problem in which multi-factor authentication was not requested at the time of Microsoft365 services authentication even though the multi-factor authentication settings were completed, and that multi-factor authentication was requested on 9/18 without prior notice, resulting in the application of multi-factor authentication at a different timing from what was expected in advance.
