■概要 / Overview
Symantec 社より，脆弱性を修正したウイルス対策ソフト「Symantec Endpoint Protection」 のバージョン 12.1-RU6-MP5 が公開されています．

当該ソフトを利用している場合は，Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1-RU6-MP5 を Symantec FileConnection から入手し更新してください．

■対象 / Target
- Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1-RU6-MP5 未満 / Symantec Endpoint Protection lower than 12.1-RU6-MP5

なお、Mac版の Symantec Endpoint Protection Client は今回更新はなく、12.1-RU6-MP4が最新版です。 / The client for Mac does not update for this release, and remains at 12.1.6 MP4.

■対策 / Solution
Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1-RU6-MP5 にアップデートする． / Update.

入手・インストール方法(Symantec Endpoint Protection Client の場合）：

1. アップデートは，Symantec FileConnection から入手します．なお，入手にはシリアル番号が必要で，ライセンス証書に記載されています．不明な点は各部局のライセンス管理者にご確認ください．
2. シリアル番号入力
3. 「ソフトウエア―のダウンロード」の，「12.1 Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 - Japanese」を選択
4. 「Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP5_All_Clients_JP.zip」の「＋」をクリック．⇒ HTTPS ダウンロードをクリックし保存する．
5. 保存したフォルダーに移り，ダウンロードした「Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP5_All_Clients_JP.zip」を右クリックして「すべて展開」をクリックし「展開」
6. 展開したフォルダー内の OSに応じたフォルダー（64ビット版Windowsの場合「Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP5_Win64-bit_Client_JP.exe」，32ビット版Windowsの場合「Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.6_MP5_Win32-bit_Client_JP.exe」）からアップデートを実行．

インストール後のクライアントのバージョンは 12.1RU6 MP5 に更新されます．バージョン番号は，Symantec Endpoint Protection を開き，「ヘルプ」の「バージョン情報」で確認できます．
