(Update: July 13, 2026, noon)
Starting at noon on Monday, July 13, we will resume operation of some login nodes on a limited basis, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.
Please note that all sessions will be terminated at 5:00 PM on weekdays.
Job execution will continue to operate 24 hours a day.

The available login nodes are as follows:

System Acamphor.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
camphor32.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
System Blaurel.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
laurel32.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
System Ccinnamon.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
cinnamon32.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
System Ggardenia.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp
gardenia12.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp

* Please note that we will continue to suspend services for the Visualization Server, JupyterHub, and Open onDemand.

(Update: July 14, 2026, 5:20 p.m.)

We previously announced that we would resume operation of the login nodes starting at noon on Monday, July 13, with hours limited to “9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.”
However, since the necessary system adjustments have been completed, we are lifting the time restrictions effective today and resuming normal 24-hour operation.

Accordingly, the “mandatory session termination at 5:00 PM on weekdays” that we previously announced will no longer be enforced starting today.
Users who are currently logged in may continue using the service as usual.

Please note that there are no changes to the available login nodes.

We apologize for the significant inconvenience caused during the restricted period. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

* Please note that we will continue to suspend services for the Visualization Server, JupyterHub, and Open onDemand.

(Update: July 15, 2026, 3:13 p.m.)

Since login nodes undergo maintenance in sequence, you can continue to use other login nodes even during maintenance.
However, please note that any sessions currently logged in to a node undergoing maintenance will be disconnected when maintenance begins.

You can check the name of the node you are currently logged into using the “hostname” command.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
