Implementation of SPAM Emergency Countermeasures for Microsoft 365 Emails Including Student Emails

We have been receiving a number of phishing emails to student email addresses (@st.kyoto-u.ac.jp), and SPAM emails have been frequently sent using student email addresses as a stepping stone since the end of last year.

• ・Effective Date: Monday, March 18th 2024
• ・Impact Users: those who are using email addresses with @st.kyoto-u.ac.jp and @ms.c.kyoto-u.ac.jp
• ・New Limit: 1,000 recipients per day
• ・When reached the limit: You are going to receive the notification and you cannot send any messages during 24 hours.
