(Faculty and Staff Groupware) Settings Changes for the Consolidation of Scheduling Functions (Personal Schedules and Facility Reservations) into Google Calendar
To All Faculty and Staff,
As announced during the briefing session (Japanese only) on October 30, we would like to inform you that the Google Calendar event access permissions have been updated (restricted) as follows:
Before: See event details
After: See only free/busy (hide details)
Impact: When creating an event with visibility set to "Default visibility," it will only display as "Busy" during that time slot. Other users will not be able to view details such as the event title or guest list.
* For instructions on adjusting these settings, please refer to "1.1. Event Access Permissions and Sharing Settings" in the User Guide, and change your settings as needed according to your work requirements.
