Change of the Subject of server certificate
To all users of server certificate service
Due to the renewal of the following digital certificate service of NII, the Subject has been changed since July 9, 2018.
https://certs.nii.ac.jp/upki_update_2018/
Before:
State or Province Name (full name) []:.(Enter dot)
Locality Name (eg, city) [Default City]:Academe
After:
State or Province Name (full name) []:Kyoto
Locality Name (eg, city) [Default City]:.(Enter dot)
The current certificates which has been issued already can be used until the expire date. Normally, the renewal application should be submitted before the expire date for the same subject DN. However, after the update on 9th July 2018, the specification of subject DN has been changed. Please submit the new application instead and replace the old certificate.
