【Suspension of DNS server】

・10.224.253.1 and 10.224.254.1 will be operated as substitute servers, however all the other DNS server will be stopped.

・From KUINS-II server, 10.224.253.1 and 10.224.254.1 will be referred. Please use those two during the operation. We can't check the behavior in advance and please be noted that there might be the case that those two are also unavailable.

【Suspension of DHCP server】

・PCs connected to KUINS-III with Wired LAN and also acquiring IP address automatically cannot connect to the network.

【Suspension of Mail relay server】

・Mail relay server of KUINS will be suspended. And sending/receiving mails to on-campus and off-campus are not available.
・KUMail(***@kyoto-u.ac.jp) will be available even during the operation.
・Concerning Students' mail(***@st.kyoto-u.ac.jp), the authentication function during the maintenance will work at another server, however, there might be the case that it won't be available due to the setting in Microsoft.
・The mail which was sent during the maintenance will be sent later after the maintenance excluding some mobile mails etc.

【Suspension of NAT server】

・In using the service off-campus from KUINS-III , the service which is not via the proxy server, SOCKS server, SSH port forward server is not available. Also, the transparent proxy is not available.

【Suspension of PPTP server】

・PPTP connection and PPTP fixed VLAN connection are not available.
