Multi-Factor Authentication

What should I do if none of my TOTPs work anymore?

By initializing and reconfiguring the settings, you can use TOTP again.
Please check the operation procedure and try to initialize.

  • If you are out of the office and cannot check the TOTP, try "Click here if you cannot login"
  • If you have multiple browsers set up, export from the Authenticator that shows a valid TOTP and import it into the one with the problem.
  • After initialization, TOTP set in multiple browsers will be reset, so please export/import again.

Operation Procedure

  1. Access to the Authentication Setting Page
  2. Click "Click here if you have not initialized your one-time password (TOTP) yet."

  3. Enter your SPS-ID and PW, and click the Login button.
    ⇒on the next screen, click "初期化" button.

  4. After you see "メールを送信しました。", open the email that was sent to your email address.
    If you see "An email has been sent to the ICT Support Center.",,
    you should check here

  5. Click the URL in the mail body , then enter your SPS-ID and PW
    on the screen that appears and click the "Login" button.

  6. After seeing "ワンタイムパスワード認証の設定を初期化しました。", click the house shaped button
    on the right top.

  7. Select "ワンタイムパスワード(トークン)"and click the select button.

  8. Again click "Click here if you have not initialized your one-time password (TOTP) yet."

  9. Click QR code scan button on the Authenticator and read the QR code.

  10. Click the OK button on the dialog "*** 追加されました。" ⇒ Click the "登録" button.

  11. Enter the TOTP displayed in the Authenticator and click the "確認" button.

  12. When you see the message "ワンタイムパスワード認証の設定が完了しました。", you have done it.

In case you see the message "An email has been sent to the ICT Support Center".

  1. After you see the message "An email has been sent to the ICT Support Center.",
    please give us iimc a phone call. ※Do NOT close the screen.

  2. After confirming your identity, he QR code screen automatically shows up,
    then you should operate from step9 .
