If you are using the multi-factor authentication "one-time password (6 digits)" displayed on your Web browser when logging in to the faculty/staff groupware or faculty/staff email (***@kyoto-u.ac.jp), and you change the PC you are using due to a personnel change, please make sure that the Web browser of the new PC is the same as the old one. There is also a method [2] to display the one-time password on your own smartphone, so please use it as appropriate.

In addition, please do not forget to set up a "notification e-mail address" so that we can respond to problems such as the inability to display the one-time password on the new PC due to a malfunction in the transfer process.

If you are a regular smartphone user or have already registered a notification e-mail address, please make sure that the address is still available.

【Set/confirm email address for notification】

If for some reason you are unable to confirm your one-time password, you can receive it by e-mail as a temporary workaround. This can also be used in case of PC failure, etc. Please be sure to set up the system by referring to the procedure in the FAQs.
