For students who will be enrolled in Kyoto University after April, but whose status or affiliation will change

To students who stays Kyoto University or enroll in the graduate school of Kyoto University in the New Academic year, please read this through.

The information of handling of ECS-ID is below.

Please keep using the same ECS-ID and Student e-mail (KUMOI) address while you are enrolled in Kyoto Univesity.

1. ECS-ID and KUMOI address

【In case of changing status in Kyoto University (In this case, there is no need to complete the procedure.)】

Please keep using the same ECS-ID and KUMOI address. However, you can't keep your ECS-ID and KUMOI address if you become faculty and staff.
In case that you receive a notification including a different ECS-ID in April, you might have two different ECS-IDs. Please come to ICT Support Center (ACCMS, South Bldg.)
with the notification.

【In case of becoming JSPS research fellow, Part-time lecturer, Research fellow etc.】

You will be able to use the same ECS-ID and KUMOI address by applying for a change (continuation) of your ECS-ID status.

【In case of becoming Faculty and Staff (except for Part-time lecturer)】

SPS-ID and Facuty and Staff e-mail (KUMail) address are issued to Faculty and Staff of Kyoto University.Please use them after being isuued. ECS-ID and KUMOI address are not available any more.Please read through "To students who graduate or leave from Kyoto University in March" and follow the instructions.
