  Rather than having to use many cards, a student or staff member only has one card, which can be used for many services. In the future, new services can also be added on to this card. (See the section, 'Types of cards.')

  • Permission at the entrance and exit from buildings such as the library and the provision of other services
  • Issuance of IDs
  • Authentication of IDs for login of personal computers
  • Use of electronic money at the Co-op
• Control of identity theft, allowing higher security jobs -> Faculty and staff
• Reduction of card costs related to entrance and exit from buildings -> University departments
• Reduction in work related to card issuance -> Persons in charge of card issuance
