Portal site for Hosting service users was opened.

Hosting service was opened the portal site for users.
■Kyoto University hosting portal URL
※You can log in with your SPS-ID or ECS-ID.
This portal offers the following functions.
1.Browsing messages concerning the service
2.Confirming the service usage
3.Editting mail transfer setting by .forward+files
4.Application for new Mailman mailing list
5.Adding and deleting the ID(joint users) connectable to FTP server
6.Application for dealer's ID
Function1～3 will be available for not only users but also joint users.
Function4～6 will be available for users only.
For the request of changing joint users (Function 5) and Mailman(Function 4),please submit applications from portal, not from your mail.
■Details of each functions
1.Browsing messages concerning the service
The message memo from service provider and the ones per vitual host will be displayed in the [TOPPAGE] in user's menu.
The messages can be listed in [Messages] in user's menu, and also can be managed hiding the read articles etc.
The messages which is noticed in ML will be noticed in Portal as well.
The personal notice is the function for users and joint users to write the memo freely about virtual host and to communicate among persons in charge or to take over the host management. The written memo will be displayed in[TOPPAGE].
2.Confirming the service usage
The virtual host list of users and joint users will be displayed in clicking [Managing the virtual host] in user's menu. You can check the useage in clicking [Display the detail] in the list.
Also, you can write the personal notice freely in [Display the detail of Virtual host list] screen.
3.Editting mail transfer setting by .forward+files
In pressing [Forwarding mails] button in the virtual host list,or in pressing theの[Mails forwarding setting] button in the [Displaying the detail of virtual host]screen ,you can set .forward+file,which will be used for forwarding mail address setting introduced in the following URL , from the portal quickly.(Setting will be reflected on the spot.).
4.Application for new Mailman mailing list
In pressing の[Application for mailing list] button in the [Display the details of virtual host] screen ,you can make an application for the Mailman mailing list in the Web hosting service, introduced in the following URL.(The content of the application won't be displayed on the spot.).
※This function is available for users only.
Please be noted that the [Application for mailing list] button won't be displayed for joint users.
IIMC provide "Mail hosting service", the similar function as above which will be available with the simple user interface.
We recommend you to use this in starting ML management in the future.
5.Adding and deleting the ID(joint users) connectable to FTP server
In pressing [Users] button in the virtual host list,or in pressing [joint users] button in [Display the details of vitual host ] screen,you can set the joint user's ID connectable to FTP server introduced in the following URL.
※This function is available for users only.
you can add ID from [Add] button. After entering ID,you can distinguish the ID if they can be added or not in pressing [Confirming ID existance] button.
In pressing [Register] button,the data will be reflected in 10mins and connectable to FTP server.
Joint users can use this portal with the registerd ID.
Remarks will be available as the memo to write the name of ID.
6.Application for dealer's ID
[Application for dealer's ID] in user's menu will be linked to the "Allication form for dealer's ID" mentioned in the following URL.
Users should log in to apply for the ID.
