For new faculty and staff members

Kyoto University provides various IT systems and services to support faculty and staff in their educational and research activities.

Beginners' guide for faculty and staff provides an introduction to the basic process of using the University's IT systems and services for new faculty and staff.

For those planning to leave or moving in

When a faculty or staff member leaves, the account will be deactivated, and with it, various IT systems and services will no longer be available.

Leaving KyotoU or transferring to another department is a comprehensive guide for prospective graduates on what to check and prepare with regard to IT systems and services.

For those starting to work from home

If you work from home in accordance with the [Regulations on teleworking for teaching staff], you must be prepared to use the university's IT systems and services in a remote environment.

For those setting up a network environment for your research lab or office
