PC Terminal Services for Education

PC Terminal Services are allowed for faculty, staff and students to use software on Windows 10 and Linux for teaching and learning.

About 1,200 Physical PC Terminals are equipped in Satellite Classrooms at each Faculty building and Open Spece Laboratory (OSL) located at Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University Library and Yoshida-South Library. Besides, Virtual PC Terminals (Windows 10 and/or Linux) are available for the use by BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Terminals like student's note PC (faculty/instructors permission is required to use).

Furthermore, Cloud Strage for BYOD is provided to synchronize user's files on User Home Storage among Physical/Virtual PC Terminals and BYOD Terminals.

In order to use these services,you need the Student Account (ECS-ID) or the Faculty and Staff Account (SPS-ID)
