The Computing Services are available only for users with their User ID/account for our large-scale computing systems. Please follow these guidelines and complete all necessary application procedures.

|User Eligibility||Applicants must meet either one of the following conditions:
For eligibility of non-residents including international students, see The Rules for Use of Foreign Nationals and Japanese Nationals Residing Overseas. For requirements for use of our systems for collaborative research with private organizations, see The Rules for Use of Collaborative Research with Private Organizations.
In the cases when users entrust a private organization with the program development, please consult us via the Inquiry Form.
The usage fee is required depending on courses and types for supercomputer users. Note that individual user's expense is unacceptable.

Application Flow Chart
The following graphic illustrates the necessary application procedures. You must apply for a user ID by submitting the application form. Once your application has been approved, the Entry Course service and use of the Large-Format Printer will become available. Users can increase computation resources by applying for another course or the License services.
Note that we accept applications for use of the services, except the Entry Course and Licensing Service, during the fixed application periods only. To check the upcoming dates of the application periods, see Service Application Timeline and E-mail Newsletter.
1. Obtaining a User ID(Necessary)
User ID is issued by submitting the Application Form for Large-Scale Computer Systems. You can use our supercomputer as a entry course user immediately after obtaining a user ID.
Please fill in the form referring to the instruction described in the Application Form for Large-Scale Computer Systems and the 「Research Area Codes」. For inquires about the application procedures, please contact the Inter-University Services Section (see above).

2. Application for the Service Course(Optional)
In the case of the shortage of the available computing resources in the entry cource, please consider Personal Course, Group Cource or to add the Storage.We accept applications for each course during only the fixed application periods since there is a limitation in available computing resources. Please refer to the following URL for the Service Cource Application Timeline and how to apply.

Applying for Trial Account ID
This service offers you a trial account prior to application for use of our computing services. The trial account allows you to try out our system while running on your programs or application that you are currently using on your computer or research laboratory's cluster systems. See Trial Account
