KUMail(Kyoto University Mail for Faculty and Staff)

Is there any limitations to the data size in KUMail?

The storage capacity of the faculty/staff groupware (Google Workspace)

The storage capacity of the faculty/staff groupware (Google Workspace) changed as follows.

From July 4, 2022, onward: 50GB limit for each user

Maximum size of an incoming message

Up to 50MB per one message.

Maximum size of an outgoing message

You can send up to 25 MB in attachments. If you have more than one attachment, they can't add up to more than 25 MB.

If your file is greater than 25 MB, Gmail automatically adds a Google Drive link in the email instead of including it as an attachment. Learn more about Google Drive attachment sharing settings.

Upload limit for KUMail storage

KUMail storage is an online storage for temporarily uploading data to share with users on and off campus instead of attaching files when sending emails.

The available capacity is 2 GB per user. However, it depends on the software used for uploading.
