PC Terminal Service (OSL and Satellite Classroom)

Where do I save the data I have created?

Your data should be saved in the following areas.

  • Windows (fixed PC and virtual terminals)

M Drive (M:\) or OneDrive

Note: If you save the data other than the above, the data will be lost when you restart your PC.

Please be aware that the capacity of the M drive available to each person is limited to 5GB. If the drive is depleted, you may not be able to log in, so please be mindful of the data capacity. Files in the Recycle Bin are also moved under each user's M Drive, so if you do not empty the Recycle Bin, its capacity will not be reduced.

In addition, you can access your data from a virtual terminal (Ubuntu) or a PC outside the university, such as at home, by saving it to OneDrive in the following way. OneDrive's capacity limit has been extended to 5TB, so please use it deliberately.

<Note regarding limitation of usage capacity>

Microsoft has notified us of a change in cloud storage total capacity limits after 8/1/2024. As a result, the storage space that you have been able to use free of charge and with almost no concern about capacity limits may be limited in the future. In such a case, users who are subject to the limitation may be required to move the data they currently have in place. For details, please refer to Microsoft's information page.
